Robot mowers are chosen by lawn size. Find your garden's size and you'll see the models that cover it with room to spare.
How to choose
Every robot has a maximum working area. We start from the size of your lawn and pick a model that covers it, ideally with a little room to spare.
Slopes matter as much as square metres. Some robots climb gradients of up to 25%; all-wheel-drive models, up to 70%.
Separate areas, narrow passages, trees or a pool decide whether a boundary wire or wire-free virtual boundaries make more sense.

During the visit we work out which system suits your garden best. Many models support both.
A thin wire, buried or pegged to the ground, marks the edge of the lawn and the islands around trees and flowerbeds. A tried-and-tested, reliable system.
The robot navigates by satellite with the help of a reference station. Boundaries and no-mow zones are drawn in the app and can be changed whenever you like.

FAQs
It mainly comes down to two things: the area of your lawn in square metres and the steepest slope in your garden. Choose a model whose maximum area is a little larger than yours and that can handle your slope; for gradients of up to 70% there are all-wheel-drive (AWD) models. In the catalogue the robots are sorted by garden size (from XS to XL), the ‘Find your robot’ quiz suggests a model in five questions, and at the free visit we measure everything and recommend the exact model.
With a boundary wire, a thin wire buried or pegged to the ground marks the edge of the lawn. With EPOS there's no wire: the robot navigates by satellite and the boundaries are drawn in the app; the V models also have an AI camera that steers around objects. EPOS needs a clear view of the sky and, depending on the model, Wi-Fi or mobile coverage across the whole lawn; in gardens with lots of trees or right next to high walls, a wire is usually more reliable.
Hardly at all. Automower® models for the home have a perceived sound level of roughly 56 to 63 dB(A), quiet enough to work at night without disturbing anyone. You'll find the exact figure on each model's page.
Yes, Automower® robots are built to work outdoors and can mow in the rain. If you prefer, you can adjust the schedule in the app so it stays in its charging station when the weather is bad.
Every Automower® has a PIN code and a lift sensor, and it won't work without the code. Most have an alarm, and models with mobile connectivity also have GPS tracking, so you know where it is at all times.
Very little: a clean now and then and new blades when needed. We recommend an annual service and a winter service at our workshop: we give it a thorough clean and a check-over, and come spring it's ready to mow again.
According to Husqvarna Spain, the robots come with a 3-year warranty for domestic use and 1 year for professional use.
